directions

As we mentioned before, each one of us chose one of the three ideas that we had:
-Echos
-Directions
-Angles
And from that we are expecting one or two of the following:
subtracting
narrowing down
combining
diverging/converging
extracting from one into the other
And be able to finalize one concept, with clear understanding of how/what the content is going to be.

Process 01C

After our first meeting with our advisers we were encouraged to start thinking of the content pragmatically even before deciding on the final format. ORGANIZATION!
Therefore, we went ahead and began collecting artifacts for the Moodboard.

"Mood boards are often used by graphic designers to enable a person to illustrate visually the direction of style which they are pursuing. However, mood boards can also be used to visually explain a certain style of writing, or an imaginary setting for a storyline. In short, mood boards are not limited to visual subjects, but serve as a visual tool to quickly inform others of the overall 'feel' (or 'flow') that a designer is trying to achieve. Creating mood boards in a digital form may be easier and quicker, but physical objects often tend to have a higher impact on people because of the more complete palette of sensations physical mood boards offer, in contrast with the black & white or color-prints of a digital mood board."

Right now we are going back and forth into the seniors' studios, looking for what specific materials, colors, textures and lines that sets each department from the other.

 The mood of one department could be the constant, and the students are the variable.
